Bombi Natura

Passionate about biodiversity conservation. He completed his PhD and postdoctoral studies at the University of Murcia, studying the effect of pesticides, pathogens, and thermal stress on bees and bumblebees. He collaborated with Butterfly Conservation UK analyzing the effect of the climate on butterfly populations. He worked at the Center for Energy and Environmental Technology (CETENMA) combining research with environmental outreach. Currently, he develops Bombi Natura, where he works on pollinator conservation through research, outreach, and the development of conservation services.

Professionally and vocationally an entomologist. He completed a doctorate on the population ecology of tiger beetles at the University of Murcia, and has worked in environmental research and consulting in Germany, focusing on the faunistic and ecological aspects of dragonflies, bees, hoverflies, and orthoptera from northern Europe. He is currently in the Aragonese Pyrenees, where he works with the local communities of orthoptera and other groups of insects of ecological interest. He collaborates with Bombi Natura by contributing his expertise in taxonomy, photography, and the ecology of insects.
